I desire nothing more than peace, but if that peace is unattainable I stand for for nothing short of revolution! Prepare to make a difference America. We've had enough. Congress and the government all together needs to step aside and let our democracy back to the controls!

This will also mean the end of small internet businesses. People will have to pay extra just to get to outside web sites, and that will cut down a lot of visits. Businesses will have to go through the phone company, and pay them, just to get their site on the list. Or they will have to resort to partnering with other big businesses like Amazon or Ebay. That's just wrong! God it's like the whole Wal-Mart thing all over again, but worse, because so much else is at stake.

great video :D Just another way for a huge corporation to gain more money and control over the people. They want to make the choices for us!? We're not stupid, we're educated adults, I think we know what we want! That's not even an excuse, we know what's happening here, why don't they just take the damn Bill of Rights and flush it down the toilet while they're at it >=(

marstokyo that is bullshit, so in other words all control should be in the hands of "journalists" controlled by corporations? Not to the people themselves? Well these "Idiots" are the PEOPLE, and they should be in control, not some demigods of communication.

The problem is people think the news media is some kind of enemy. That it's all controlled by corporations, nothing they say can be trusted. That's paranoid bullshit. I've been married to a newspaper journalist for 24yrs, and I know the integrity that well regarded newspapers have. The vet everything. You can count on it to be accurate. Opinions are on the editorial page.
Without competent journalists--all we'll have is a blogosphere of idiots. It's coming. My husband is now laid off from 20yrs.

I think... Anyone who thinks of the internet as the answer to Mcluhan's "Global village" most likely possesses cognitive deformities.

English subtitles would be useful

They aren't talking about shutting down the internet but having control over the input you get without being able to output what you think about whatever crap they show you.
Example: i wouldn't be able to tell you that you are retarded.

It looks like the freedom of speech is at stake world wide!
I'm from the Netherlands and i think people need to speak up before they aren't allowed to speak up anymore. Cartoonists that have been arrested in the middle of the night, the Fitna issue, Theo van Gogh (r.i.p) .. etc etc
