Mel Gibson is awesome. Thank God for him! He's made some mistakes in the past, like all of us, but he's real. And he's a good man.

ok I do understand what you're saying but as far as I know it, Jesus was arrested for going behind the back of the Roman Empire. Yes the traitor may have been most likely jewish, but that doesn't automatically mean that all jews are christ killers or anything. And it is also most likely that the Christians were blaming the jews, cause they knew if they blamed the Romans they'd be killed or something.

I love it. People can't say anything "bad" about Judaism without being called anti-semitic while Christianity and Christians in particular, can be disrespected and their belief that Jesus is the Son of God can be called a "fairy tale". Double standards, much?

What's more intolerable is that people are so quick to play the anti-semitic/discrimination card and call out others on being anti-semites and racists without knowing the difference between a person spewing hate against other people's religion, gender, or ethnicity; and a person whose beliefs are different from yours.

As far as I know, the Jews decided Jesus was blasphemous when He declared that He was the Son of God and the messiah. Jesus went against most of the Jewish beliefs (performing miracles on the Sabbath, disagreeing with the Scribes and the Pharisees, etc.), angering a lot of the authorities. So the last straw was when Jesus proclaimed He was the Son of God. They were already ticked off with Jesus' "meddling", so they arrested Jesus for blasphemy (a serious crime back then), and crucified Him.

ok jews didn't exactly reject jesus christ, but they stopped believing cas he died and everything went back 2 the way it was b4, they realized he wasn't the messiah.. that's it ok i'd know i am a jew.. and it's a big deal if he's anti semitic, that's how it started out with world war II. 6 million jews were killed, 1 million of those were children! so think before u say anti semitism isn't a big deal cas it is

ok first of all, holidays are rarely ever taken off for jewish holidays, except in places tht are heavily populated with jews.. i would know, i'm a jewish seventh grader.. i agree that holidays aren't taken off for the other religions, but christianity, yeah days are taken off for that.. christmas, easter, and those r the major ones i can think of.. i had 2 miss school for rosh hashanah, yom kippur, hanukah, passover, and those holidays.. get the facts rite |
