ok put urself in the place of an average adult. would he spend the same kind of money into the stockmarket or a personal project or starting up a business as a wealthy man would? of course not, why would he, if i had free money coming from the government i wouldnt spend it on unneccesary things, i would save it obviously, save it for my retirement, kids college tuition, for a rainy day w.e..and saving money does not boost the econonmy. thats why rich people who spend contribute more for the mass

Thank you for posting this video - it tells the truth of the government of the United States..I can only hope that the post Bush era brings peace to the world - let countries be independent, let them rule themselves, why does the United States want to play God????

Most jobs these days go across seas b/c the big businesses want cheap labor and Americans have a higher standard. Even better when jobs stay in America they go strait to immigrants who are desperate and can't fight the "man."
I think the economy will balance out once we get the average Joe (no pun intended) all set. That's why the Democrats are right, b/c they have their eyes on the needy people, rather than their own pockets. Why should the majority suffer for the prosperity of the few?

Now thats just a dumb question. It helps because it gives people money;money to buy their food,to pay their rent,ect. It also makes them feel like they have a purpose and the ability to get out of the mess they are in. Small business owners have the ability to become successful, all they have to do is give a reason for people come, either fresh or new foods, cheaper prices w.e. just business. I agree about the CEO's salaries, just too much but some of them, like Gates earned it so why share?

Big business only promotes the important parts of the economy when it gives lobs to the lower or middle class. How'd we know if it really does help? What ever happened to defending the small business owner, I don't think he wants to give up his dram to work at an insecure desk job for IBM when a person in China could take it. Those CEOs could cut half their pay, make enough to still own their mansion and give enough money to keep all of the homeless fed. They don't need less taxes.

Politicians have a choice of whether to take money from lobbiest or bribes or whatever..big business just promotes everything in the economy. its benefits out weigh what maybe called costs...also that 7% of the population that have the money like bill gates earned it and through that process helped thousands of people and taxing them and hindering their business and telling them to share the money that they earned with others is wrong

So who do you suggest does what the UN is not doing? Huh? One single country or person can't rule the world. I agree that we should be prepared but we shouldn't go and outright bllame certain countries for things that may or may not happen. That is totally un-american. When big business gives jobs out it is fine, but when it currupts our politians and has the majority of money in america greedily, they become a huge problem. We can't have 7% of the population get 85% of all the money! Go Obama!

No we should not go to Iran(or pakistan) but we should put pressure on them and with a country like that we cannot assume theyre innocent cause if they arent and we are not ready theres going to be a major problem. And UN DOES NOTHING except take away precious time to come to a decison that we could have made a long time ago. Also america never loved the underdog, we just supported the countries that were being threatened for the wrong reasons. Big business creates jobs so theres no prob in tat |
