bbjolin: Your view is not Chinese view but the similar view of a few who try to cling to power and made the excuse that it is the Chinese view. When you say Chinese you only based it on your personal opinion, not the opinions of the majority of the people because the people are not allowed to talk freely anyway.

I'm not saying which is better or worse, it's just different, deep in the culture, deep in every Chinese's hart.
Maybe that's why some western points of view and so-called "human rights" doesn't apply to Chinese people. Try to force Chinese to accept all of the western views without understand the Chinese is just retarded.

n Chinese, Family name comes before the given name , while the westerns say their given name first ;
Once a Chinese introduce herself, she always says I am Beijing's (Shanghai's, etc), then plus her name, while the westerners always say "I am xx, from New York" ;
Chinese usually put their individuals into a bigger concept -- Family, Team, Party, Nation etc, while the westerners tend to put their individual value in the first place.

White people has been trying to preach Chinese to be Christians, take democratic route. You know what? Little to none has any Chinese ever assimilated to their nonsense since 1880s. All of this is trying to obtain sovereignty trying to get closer to China and spy thinking that China is gonna build WMD and bomb everyone. Give me a break. You white people needs to worry about your own government because what i know you're the real terrorist in the eyes of Iraqis right now.

Why british, french and germany not support Quebeque's seperation from Canada? They don't care about Tibetan people, their real intention is to invade China and India. The Dalai Lama is the only hope for these "lost old empire" to colonize China again.
