I think one of the reason the us did not go to help those people is because they had nothing to gain like they have to gain in Iraq(OIL), they did nothing, the UN came in too late,thousands died, thousands of people in a matter of 100 days.........sigh

exactly. You don't want the USA to be the world police then fine. she won't. but you must also bear the consequences, bothe good and bad. In fact, there has always been one country/empire that dominated the world, from rome to han china to british empire. to think we can have a multilateral world is trash. but, u kno what? i rather have USA be the world police then iran or north korea or one of those dodgy countries that has no respect for human rights.

You are right. Look at madness about US forces in Iraq... People are stupid animals and if US went to Rwanda and stop the massacre (of course by using force) people all around the world would protest against Bush and they would burn american flags. It's sad but true. |
