Article XVI which gives the congress the "power" to have a federal income tax, was found to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL by the Supreme Court! Referring to the explicit prohibition against direct taxation in Article I, the court argued that the income tax would excessively enhance federal power in relation to state power. http://www.usconstitution.net/... In 1895, in the Supreme Court case of Pollock v Farmer's Loan and Trust (157 U.S. 429), the Court disallowed a federal income tax. The tax was designed to be an indirect tax, which would mean that states need not contribute portions of a whole relative to its census figures. The Court, however, ruled that the income tax was a direct tax and subject to apportionment. This was the last in a series of conflicting court decisions dating back to the Civil War. Between 1895 and 1909, when the amendment was passed by Congress, the Court began to back down on its position, as it became clear not only to accountants but to everyone that the solvency of the nation was in jeopardy. In a series of cases, the definition of "direct tax" was modified, bent, twisted, and coaxed to allow more taxation efforts that approached an income tax. http://www.answers.com/topic/a... What good is the constitution and the Supreme Court if the Senate and House and ratify anything found to be UNCONSTITUTIONAL . Aaron they don't audit anyone anymore , they it just use it as a tool to mass up someone's life.and it is nothing but a tool for a hate crime . if you have small problem with city , commerce city inspector you name it , they just call the IRS on you to get busy with the auditing , wile they keep on doing there dirty work ..

I did not vote for Obama in the election this year but somebody told me that he said if a person makes less than forty thousand dollars that they can keep their money does anybody know if that is true.

Exactly! The IRS trial court, unlike any other court in the land, does NOT allow Supreme Ct rulings into evidence The truth is there is no appropriately cited TAX law on unapportioned wages on the required Federal Registry But you the tax payer are up against an ignorant jury! Sometimes the jury sticks to its guns when the defense claims, "no law"; but most of the time the lame public jury goes with the government Bottom line: The IRS is the biggest gun in the West - Do you feel lucky punk?

What people don't understand, is that if we all just stand together and refuse to do what they tell us, then we win! If we all refused to pay income tax then we win. What can they do, throw us all in jail? Instead, we keep doing what they tell us, and let the few who don't obey go to jail alone... Everyone needs to grow a pair of balls and stand up for themselves and for their fellow americans. It really IS a time for revolution, and the revolution starts with you!
